Diane did some laundry before leaving Bass Harbor Campground. Check out time was 12:00 noon and we checked out at 12:00 noon. It was a cloudy and grey day with occasional light rain. We were on our way back to White Birches Campground near Shelburne, New Hampshire and we pretty much followed the same path getting to Bass Harbor back.
There was more colors in the trees than a week ago. It was a colorful drive back to New Hampshire.
We stopped for a beer and dinner at the Sunday River Brewery just outside of Bethel, Maine and only about 20 minutes to the White Birches Campground. The beer was good, the food was OK and my football pool picks were bad.
