It wasn’t raining when we woke up but the forecast was for heavy rain throughout the day and night. We decided because of the weather forecast that we should have a lazy morning then in the afternoon go to Atlantic Brewing Company in Bar Harbor to use their internet. Diane had to finish booking places for our trip home after Washington DC and I had to post all of our adventures in northern Vermont.
By the time we got to the Atlantic Brewing Company it was raining pretty good and it wouldn’t stop until 4:00 am. We completed our chores at the brewery and had veggie burgers there. Then it was back to the yurt in the rain. And that night was some of the hardest rain we have encountered. Our yurt sprung leaks in 3 different places. But the good news is we could have been weathering the storm in our tent.
