It was still pretty cold as we packed up our gear and left The Greenwood Lodge and Campground around 12:30 pm. We were on our way back to the Adirondack Mountains and Lake Durant State Park Campground. It was a relative short drive, about 3 ½ hours. Other than skirting Albany we drove through some very nice little towns especially on State Hwy 30 that took us to our campground through Adirondack Park. We noticed a change in the fall colors from when we were last in the Adirondack Mountains one week ago.
It was pretty cold as we set up camp. We built a fire and had a nice dinner around the fire. Slinky was in the tent under sleeping bags.
