We wanted to get to our campground in Toronto early in the afternoon but traffic and the weather were preventing that from happening.  We got into our campsite at about 4:30 or 5:00.  We immediately drove to the train station, tucked Slinky into her bed in the van and bought round trip tickets into downtown Toronto.

We walked through the Eaton Mall, one of the world’s largest, and it was big.  We were amazed that we entered on one street level entrance and went up 3 escalators and came out on another street level entrance.  We didn’t do any shopping, but we had a couple of beers at a brewery/restaurant then went for Thai food.  We had a good time in the big city even though the weather was blustery and a bit rainy.
