We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Loge cabins in Leavenworth. Thanks to Diane for booking us there. A lot of fun.
Off to Mt. Rainier. For those of you keeping track this will be our 6th National Park that we will have visited on this trip. From Leavenworth Hwy 2 East along the Wenatchee River, Hwy 97 South over the Blewett Pass, Hwy 821 South along the Yakima river, West on Hwy 12 along the Naches River, Hwy 410 continuing along the Naches River then the Chinook Pass and into Mt. Rainier National Park (WOW Mt. Rainier is spectacular), then up to Sunrise Ridge (WOW Mt. Rainier is more spectacular), then back down to the White River Campground. Piece of cake.
We settled into our campsite around 2:30. The White River looked pretty muddy to me. Maybe the Iceland/Greenland thing.
I’m surprised that the countryside looks so dry!
Love the pics!
