This being Sunday, the last day of the fair, Brie and Jeremy were still there working. We didn’t get to visit with Brie and Jeremy much because they were working at the fair. Thank you Brie and Jeremy for inviting us to stay in your travel trailer during the fair. Your gracious offer and hospitality made our weekend sooooooo much better. Thanks again.
After filling our water vessels and saying our goodbyes to Denise, Randy, Flynn and Charly we headed to the coast and the Carl Washburne State Park Campground. This campground was highly recommended by Dense and Randy. When we arrived at the campground we could clearly see why they liked this particular campground whenever they came out to the coast. We found a spot we liked, paid our fees and set up camp. Set up camp for today and for the next 4 days doesn’t mean much as we will be sleeping in the van. We will be packing up and moving up the coast toward Port Angeles each day.
After securing our spot we headed back south to Florence. Randy had told us that Florence was a nice little fishing village and we should check it out. Diane located a pub with 20 taps and a full lunch menu so we were on our way to the Beachcomber. Beer was good, veggie burger was good. We had a fun time. I bought a classic bar hat. Back at the campsite we enjoyed the rest of the evening with Slinky and our campfire.
Great sweatsuit for the Slinkster!
Looks like she’s happy to be warm!
