This morning Slinky made a couple of new friends, Sea Biscuit and Secretariat. It was the first time she has encountered a horse, or any animal that big, and she was able to see them from the trailer window. It was fun watching her.
And now the 49th annual Oregon Country Fair!
We really didn’t know what to expect. We knew from our friend at the bar a couple of weeks ago, who encouraged us to go, that the venue, The Peach Pit, is VERY large but that was about it. We walked to the fair with Denise and Randy and they told us more about what to expect. Such as there is no alcohol allowed and none is sold at the fair. But never did we expect what we were about to experience.
If the fair was to have a motto it should be “Let Your Freak Flag Fly.” Pictures don’t lie.
We walked a total of 15 miles over the two days, ate good food both days, bought a few t-shirts and a little jewelry and had a fantastic time.
Love that band!! What a colorful place! Slinky is looking good and happy!
Looked very fun and funky!
