Sunday at Broken Arrow Campground. It was chilly getting out of the van this morning but not as chilly as it was yesterday. You could tell it was going to be a warm day. After coffee and tidying up we decided to take a walk over to Diamond Lake before it got too hot. We did not know that there is a very nice bike/walk trail around the Lake. I’m guessing that it would be 10 to 12 miles around the lake and judging by the 2 miles we walked a very beautiful 10 to 12 miles. We would have walked further but it was getting hot.
Back at our campsite we put up the awning and stayed in the shade for the rest of the afternoon. We spent our time shooting the breeze and reading. Diane is reading “The Time It Never Rained” by Elmer Kelton and I’m reading “Pacific Vortex” by Clive Cussler. A very relaxing and hot afternoon.
