Nice morning but a little cold (low 40’s). Took Slinky to look at the rushing Robinson Creek. A big mistake, she wanted to go back to the campsite 30 feet from the creek (lesson learned). After coffee we went back to Bridgeport and headed south toward Lee Vining, SR 120 and Tiago Pass into Yosemite National Park. Entrance Fee for Yosemite is $35.00. Free for us. The entrance gate is about 6 miles from Hwy 395 and resides at 9,945 ft. in elevation. There were still small patches of snow at that elevation today. If you have been to Yosemite you know about how spectacular and majestic the views are and that never goes away. Each time you travel here it always leaves you in awe. Which it did to us.
Leaving Yosemite we headed to Fresno to visit my Dad’s wife, Wilma who just had her 95th birthday. Visiting Wilma is always fun. She has a great sense of humor and we get to talk about my dad. Oh yeah, she also cooks a great Portuguese style pot of beans with a nice salad that we love. And of course she is a cat lover. Slinky loves her and vice versa.
The pictures from all the days are awesome!!
