Slinky was better this morning than last night. She seemed more calm today after sleeping with us in the van.
Beautiful chilly morning we could hardly wait for the sun to rise over the tree tops to get warm. Our little stove burner with the JetBoil fuel worked really well for our coffee. Last night we realized that our 2 burner cooking stove didn’t use JetBoil fuel (hopefully the only thing we didn’t test before leaving). We looked up the closest REI where we knew we could get propane canisters, 15 miles away in Corte Madera, packed up and headed back the way we came, east on Francis Drake Blvd. We got what we needed and, you guessed it, we headed west to Hwy 1 on Francis Drake Blvd.
Francis Drake Blvd Intersects Hwy 1 at Olema just below Tomales Bay. It was low tide but beautiful just the same. The drive up the coast was great, lots of small towns, a few river mouths and many spectacular views. Slinky was better on this drive than yesterday driving up I5. We ended the day at a small RV campground in Fort Bragg. Our first evening cooking dinner on the 2 burner stove and you know what, Diane’s cooking on a camping stove is just like at home, very good.

I, for one, want to know what Diane prepares for your meals.
Did you go to sea glass beach?
No… didn’t make it to the glass beach.
